Only 20 Days Left

Well, time as a single for us is running low! We only have a little over 20 days till we are married as of right now. We are both very excited and have those little butterflies going too! When we went to Tasha and Aaron's wedding last week we both got to the temple and must've started feeling those butterflies at the exact same time! We are so happy and can't wait to be sealed! Hope to see all of our friends at our Open House or Reception too :)

Father's Day

Ashley decided to surprise me for Father’s Day this year! We had a great breakfast and had church. She made kalua pork for me for dinner, delicious! After dinner she told me she got me a little present, and asked if I wanted it? So she brings out a swimsuit for me for our honeymoon. Then, she goes back and comes out with a box full of tools, which basically made my whole week! I have a new obsession with tools since beginning a new job in construction. Then she says what are you going to carry them in? So I’m thinkning well, I’ll have to buy a tool belt. Then she comes out with a tool belt for me! Wow, Ash rocks! Yes, I’m not a father yet, but we look for any excuse to give each other presents :)

Manti Pageant

Curt and I were in a get-out-of Provo mood, and he’d never seen the Manti Pageant before so we took a little drive south with my best friend, Lisa, and her fiancé. We got there a little early (almost 3 hours :)) but we were prepared with plenty of games! When the sun was shining it was beautiful, but when it went down, the mosquitoes came out and it was a bit too cold for shorts!! We even saw Joseph Smith’s wives. There were definitely lots of antis doing some crazy things. The pageant was excellent and we enjoyed it. Curt even managed to stay awake driving home…Quite the accomplishment at the end of a 50 hour work week averaging less than 5 hours of sleep a night! It was a fun night!

If anyone has any tips on how to do fun things on a blog, let us know!! I guess it's pretty obvious looking at our page that we are illiterate bloggers! Is there a way to get cooler fonts than the ones that are just on here??

Cooper

Ashley became an aunt on May 23 when Cooper Lyle James was born. Curtis claims him too! He is the cutest baby ever!! And he is sooo good! He barely ever cries, and we even caught a picture of him smiling! I had my bridal pictures taken on Friday and there were peacocks everywhere so Cooper got a picture with one...He's so stinkin adorable!

Tyler's Mission Call

Ash's brother Tyler finally opened his mission call last night! He's off to the Guatemala, Guatemala City Central Mission! We are really excited for him!! We'll miss him, but what a lucky guy to have the opportunity to serve the people there. He will report to the MTC on September 3. Congratulations Tyler! My Brother-in-law, Spencer, prepared this Guatemalan dinner for us so we were able to experience a bit of the culture!

Engagement Photos

Ash and I got our engagement photos taken a couple of weeks ago! It was a great experience for both of us. Amidst awkward poses and look this ways and look that ways we actually got some awesome photos! And a few that are just plain funny to look at (mostly me, Ash looks like a beauty queen in all of them!) It was a ton of fun and we're looking forward to photos on our wedding day! And I guess we're sort of excited to get married too :)
