Welcome Home Brooklyn!

After a long 6 1/2 weeks, Brooklyn was finally able to come home from the hospital on Tuesday, May 18th! We looked forward to bringing her home for so long! We were able to "Room in" on Sunday and Monday nights, which means she stayed in the room with us and her monitors were watched in the NICU in case anything went wrong. It was sort of like a little trial period. She did great, ate like a champ, and gained weight so she was able to come home! We were finally able to dress her in her own clothes and she looked like a doll!

Soo happy to be leaving the hospital with our sweet baby!

So peaceful in her carseat!

Brooklyn wanted to thank everyone for taking such good care of her. We are grateful for the kind nurses and doctors who helped in our journey. So before we went home, we went to the store to get a thank you gift.

We love having her home and know that trials really do allow us opportunities to grow that we couldn't have any other way. As hard as it was to leave her there day after day, we have learned many lessons that have strengthened us. Thank you all for your prayers, love, and support. We couldn't have done it without you all!
